Founder of Fitness By Design, Brett has been involved in the fitness industry for over 17 years. He specializes in working with individuals over 50 and golfers and is the only trainer in New York to hold two fitness certifications specializing in the mature population: Functional Aging Institute, Functional Aging Specialist and National Academy of Sports Medicine, Senior Fitness Specialist.

Brett also holds two golf fitness certifications: Titleist Performance Institute and C.H.E.K Institute. As reflected in his experience below, Brett has a deep passion for learning and continuously expands his knowledge working with some of the giants in the fitness and wellness industry. Prior to moving into the fitness industry, Brett participated in the martial arts and obtained a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu. An avid runner, he has competed over 300 road races covering virtually all distances, including four New York City Marathons.
